How many people are there at The Fussy Librarian? Just me and a part-time assistant. 

Is this your full-time job? Since November 2014, yes.

When do you approve the books? Morning through evening, usually ending by 8 or 9 p.m. central time.

How long does it take to approve my book? Less than 24 hours, most of the time.

How many subscribers are in each genre? You can find that data, as well as the prices, on this page.

Do you mind if I forward the author email to a friend? No, not at all.

What does my fee get me? Inclusion in the daily email once plus a spot in our online database for 30 days.

Will there ever be a log-in system so I can update and re-submit a book that's already run? Yes, we added that in July 2015.

What vendors do you include links for? Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Smashwords, Google Play, and Kobo.

Can I run my book again? Yes, you can submit the same title once every 30 days.

Explain to me the review requirements. You need to have at least one book with 10 reviews from Amazon and an average rating of 4.0. Or 11-19 reviews and an average review of 4.0. Or 20 reviews and an average of 3.5. It doesn't have to be the book you want to promote.

What about new releases? We accept them if you have a previous book with 10 reviews and a 4.0 rating.

Do you accept box sets? Yes, as long as one of the authors in the set has a book that meets our requirements.

Can I round up my average rating? No. Leave it alone. Precision is a good thing. 4.8 is nothing to be ashamed about.
