Save the date for a new John le Carré novel

Great news for espionage-novel fans: John le Carré has a new work coming out next fall.

Le Carré’s publisher announced today that Agent Running in the Field will be released in October 2019.

The New York Times said little information was available about the plot, except that it will not star George Smiley, but rather follow a twenty-six-year-old described as a “solitary figure,” and that it takes place in present-day London.
