We’ve made good use of wikis for various fiction series, and you probably have too.
What we haven’t had a chance to use, though, are “fictionaries” — that is, custom dictionaries for books that you can install on your Kindle or Apple device.
Nate Hoffelder notes that they serve much of the same function as the Kindle’s X-Ray feature, but with the “hack” that you can add them to books that you didn’t buy through Amazon.
He explains them much better plus provides some background on them at The Digital Reader.
