Living in Iowa, home of the famous caucuses, can be exhausting if you’re not a politics geek.

So we’re seizing on a silver lining to our first-in-the-nation status: the book tours for these presidential wannabes.

Since Iowa City is also a UNESCO City of Literature, candidates who also dabble in writing are swinging through to do public readings as well as stumping.

Marianne Williamson is up this afternoon, with Pete Buttigieg, Andrew Yang, and surely others to follow.

If you’re curious about seeing them or at least learning more about their books, check out the Iowa City Press-Citizen’s article or a full NPR interview with Buttigieg.
