The Brontë Parsonage Museum’s bid to acquire a rare artifact has some star-studded support.

Dame Judi Dench, honorary president of the Brontë Society, is urging the public to help the museum buy a tiny manuscript written by Charlotte Brontë when she was fourteen, reports the Guardian.

The book contains three stories and is expected to cost its next owner at least £650,000 (about $835,000); the auction takes place November 18.

Last time it went up for auction, in 2011, the Brontë Parsonage Museum was outbid, so the museum has been applying to trusts and foundations in addition to running a crowdfunding campaign.

Dench is joined by writers Audrey Niffenegger and Tracy Chevalier, among other celebrities, in appealing to the public to “bring (the manuscript) back to Yorkshire where it belongs” versus letting it hide in a private collection.
