Legendary journalist Bob Woodward’s next book comes out September 15.

But today, bombshells from it are dropping.

Advance copies of Rage reveal that Donald Trump realized COVID-19 was more serious than the flu, before the first confirmed US death from the disease.

The president, according to Woodward’s book and audiotapes of interviews done for the book, also acknowledged that he deliberately played down the coronavirus’s severity.

Rage uses eighteen interviews that Trump allowed Woodward to record, done from December 2019 to July 2020, as well as commentary on Trump’s presidency from some of his former top national security officials, according to CNN.

Other issues it covers, besides the COVID-19 pandemic, include the Black Lives Matter protests and the economic collapse.

CNN shares plenty of details from Rage, for those interested.

Woodward, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, previously hit the bestseller list with 2018’s Fear: Trump in the White House, an inside look at the first two years of Trump’s presidency.
