We recently saw a cartoon in which the main character asked a librarian or bookseller whether they had anything not by a Trump or about one.
Well, good news for real-life versions of that character: the next blockbuster political release won’t even take place during Donald Trump’s career as a politician.
Former President Barack Obama will release the first volume of his memoir, A Promised Land, on November 17.
It will cover Obama’s political rise and first term in the White House, with the second volume coming at a date yet to be announced.
In a statement, Obama said the book tries to “provide an honest accounting of my presidential campaign and my time in office,” including what he did right and wrong.
All of that will require nearly 800 pages, reports the Associated Press.
This isn't Obama's first foray into literature, of course; he has previously published Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of Hope.
