A new exhibit at the Charles M. Schulz Museum offers a possible peek at what the famed Peanuts creator saw in store for his characters.

The Guardian reports that "Adults by Schulz" — which opens June 17 — will publicly display the seven so-called Hagemayer strips for the first time.

These comics only include adults, and observers note some similarities between them and the Peanuts gang, although Shultz’s widow says any connection is “a mystery” to her.

"Adults by Shulz" continues through January 16, 2022; the museum is in Santa Rosa, California.
