Former NFL player Colin Kaepernick's first children's book came out earlier this week.
In the leadup to I Color Myself Different's big day, he of course was making the media rounds.
Even those who are neither interested in celebrity-authored books nor activists may, however, find his Kaepernick's interview with NPR to be interesting.
Much of the conversation focuses on illustrator Eric Wilkerson's creative process and artistic decisions for the picture book.
Also this week, actor Robert Downey Jr. revealed that he's working on a nonfiction book.
Deadline reports that he and bestselling environmental author Thomas Kostigen are collaborating on the book Cool Food: Erasing Your Carbon Footprint One Bite at a Time.
There wasn't an expected release date in the announcement.
