Want to read an AI-generated book to your kids?

Want your kids to use AI to write their own stories?

Both are entirely possible now, as The Passive Voice blog has reported.

In the case of the former, Alice and Sparkle is available for purchase now on Amazon.

Ammaar Reshi used a variety of AI tools to generate the book, which is drawing quite the passionate response — from awe at technology's capability to revulsion at the quality of the work and ethics of it.

So perhaps those who thought Alice and Sparkle was poorly done can test their own creative skills with Create With Alexa.

This new tool lets users choose a handful of story elements — theme, character, and visual features — and builds a five-scene tale for kids from it.
