Kristine Kathryn Rusch is our go-to source on contract and licensing advice.

For a long time, most of her posts centered on how to stay firm and not give everything away, just because someone approached you with a deal.

We’re not saying her most recent post does anything approaching a 180 in that regard — Rusch still wants you to make sure that your licensing deals benefit you as the content creator, but she also wants you to remember that these deals are partnerships.
