Indie authors are frequently advised to think about writing a series.

But, obviously, the mere fact that there are more books available doesn’t mean readers will go on to buy them — writers need to ensure that readers need to see where the story goes next.

Don’t panic, though — Tracy Clark, author of the Cass Raines novels, uses examples from several masters of the art to illustrate her five tips for writing a good book series.
