Anecdotally, you probably suspected that many of us have kept up our COVID-19 shopping habits long past lockdowns and into the era of vaccination.

Kristine Kathryn Rusch is sharing plenty of data to confirm this suspicion, too: We’re shopping online more often now.

But more importantly, online shoppers as a monolith are using more websites to make purchases — meaning they’re becoming accustomed to navigating sites that aren’t Amazon.
