Most authors hope readers struggle to set their books down, but thriller writers have a particularly keen interest in keeping bookworms up past their bedtimes.

Wanda M. Morris has been on both sides of this scenario — the reader who simply can't stop and the author who's working to inspire that feeling.

Those two experiences have helped her put her finger on the strategies that draw in and keep a thriller reader's interest.
