Much of the talk about artificial intelligence, in the creative world, has focused on visual art.

And if there is talk about AI and writing, it’s usually done for laughs — as in, look what nonsense it’s created.

But Joanna Penn, as is typical with her, has curiosity and optimism about its potential for authors.

That’s why she hosted Charlene Putney, an author who has also co-created the creativity tool LAIKA, on her Creative Penn podcast.

The women discuss how LAIKA works, its ethics, the future of AI creativity tools, and more, which you can either read or listen to on Penn’s website.
