If you're in the former category, good news; Jason Hamilton of the Kindlepreneur blog is wired the same way and decided to create a guide you'll find helpful.

In it, he identifies fourteen story elements and groups them into three categories, as a way for like-minded writers to better understand the role each plays in a story.
