Penny Sansevieri of Author Marketing Experts has had clients who've sworn off social media.

But, she says, some of these authors kept an open mind and found one platform worth signing up for (or returning to): Instagram.

In an episode of her Book Marketing Tips & Author Success podcast, Sansevieri and co-host Amy Cornell talk about why authors should at least consider adding an Instagram account.

She lists a few key points to remember on her blog, such as the fact that an author Instagram account is for branding, not so much direct sales.
