Happy birthday, Jhumpa Lahiri! The Pulitzer Prize winner and Guggenheim Fellow turned fifty-one today.
To celebrate, The New Yorker reshared its podcast in which Lahiri read her short story “The Boundary.” You can listen to that here.
Lahiri, in addition to the honors listed above, has been a finalist for the Man Booker Prize and the National Book Award.
Her work includes novels The Namesake and The Lowland as well as the short-story collection The Interpreter of Maladies.
