If in-person book clubs don’t work for you, you’re increasingly able to join digital ones instead.

Fortune magazine says a combination of factors are fueling the increase in digital book clubs, often led by celebrities or TV shows.

The average person is finding it increasingly easier to socialize online versus in person — and sometimes more desirable, since many claim they want to escape the real world — while famous folks or organizations find it to be a great branding exercise.

But should you read along with Jimmy Fallon, Reese Witherspoon, PBS, or someone/something else?
