’Tis the season for stories of haunted houses and hotels!

New York City’s historic Chelsea Hotel, currently closed for renovations, has played host to a laundry list of celebrities over the years, including Mark Twain, Thomas Wolfe, and Dylan Thomas.

It is also, according to many people, the residence of choice for many specters. (In fact, it’s second only to the New York Public Library in that regard.)
