We hope all of our American readers are kicking off a spectacular Thanksgiving celebration, whatever form that may take, and ask patience from our international readers who may need to let us sleep off our turkey comas before answering questions.

In that spirit, we’re calling your attention to a recently launched Audible series about author Mark Twain’s favorite foods.

Actor Nick Offerman, of Parks and Recreation fame (and also of National Book Awards hosting fame), hosts Twain’s Feast.

It isn’t his first foray into talking about Twain — the New York Times article that introduces us to the series also points out that Offerman narrated the audio versions of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court

For a preview of what you might have been eating, had external factors not dimmed the popularity of these dishes, go to the New York Times website.
