Poetry fans may want to postpone their trips to England until April 2020 — that’s when a project to preserve William Wordsworth’s cottage in the country's north is expected to conclude.

In addition to restoring Dove Cottage in Grasmere, Cumbria, the Wordsworth Trust will expand and modernize the Wordsworth Museum and improve the outdoor aspects of the site (including walking trails).

Wordsworth lived at Dove Cottage with his sister Dorothy; the improvements to their dwelling coincide with the 250th anniversary of the poet’s birth.
