In other slightly spooky news, a King collaboration is coming to the small screen.

AMC is planning to adapt Sleeping Beauties, a novel by Stephen King and son Owen King, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The younger King will write the script based on the 2017 novel, which was his first collaboration with his famous father.

Sleeping Beauties imagines a world in which all women fall asleep and become wrapped in cocoons, turning violent if awakened.

The LA Times didn’t have a predicted air date, but there’s no shortage of Stephen King products in theaters and on TV:

  • Pet Sematary (movie in theaters now).

  • Doctor Sleep (movie coming out November 8, 2019).

  • In the Tall Grass (movie in production).

  • Lisey’s Story (limited-series adaptation ordered by Apple).

  • Dark Tower (adaptation ordered by Amazon).
