Nonfiction books from the Harry Potter universe?
Yep — Pottermore Publishing will release four ebooks next month that explore the history of magic.
That is, the traditional folklore around such otherworldly arts like charms, potions, and divination.
Pottermore’s website says the books are adapted from the audiobook Harry Potter: A History of Magic, itself inspired by the British Library exhibition of the same name.
A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts and A Journey Through Potions and Herbology will come out June 27; A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy and A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures will follow at a later date.
