A bestselling fantasy author has dropped her lawsuit that accuses her estranged husband of poisoning her.

Sherrilyn Kenyon — known for such series as Dark-Hunters, Chronicles of Nick, and Lords of Avalon — said she needed to focus her energy and financial resources on her divorce filing and that she’d revisit the lawsuit later, according to the Guardian.

Through his lawyer, Lawrence R. Kenyon continued to deny his wife’s claims and suggested that she dropped the suit because of its “outlandish allegations.”

The author sought up to $20 million from her husband and two staff members in retribution for the alleged poisoning and financial mismanagement.

She cited vomiting, hair loss, broken teeth, trouble breathing, and facial swelling as proof of the poisoning.
