George R.R. Martin’s movie theater has a new neighbor: a bookstore.
The Song of Ice and Fire author explains on his website that authors who visited the Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe, New Mexico, were gracious enough to sign copies of their works and offer them for sale.
But that stock outgrew its space in the theater’s lobby, so Martin decided to add dedicated retail space next door.
Check out photos of Beastly Books, which opened on November 30, on Martin’s website if you won’t be in Santa Fe anytime soon.
You can also browse its current selection — and place orders — online.
Martin is, of course, best known for his Song of Ice and Fire series, which was adapted into the smash hit TV series Game of Thrones.
Book six, The Winds of Winter, has long been promised to be in the works, trying fans' patience severely.
