The latest leak from John Bolton’s memoir: that Donald Trump asked him to help pressure Ukraine to provide dirt on political rivals in May 2019.
CNN reports that Trump has again denied these claims, which the New York Times reported on based on its viewing of The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir.
Previously, media had cited such pressure as coming during summer 2019.
While CNN has not seen the manuscript from the former national security adviser, it shared details of the NY Times’ reporting.
The White House is threatening to block publication of The Room Where It Happened, set to come out March 17, if what it calls classified information is not removed.
