A publisher confirmed Friday that former US ambassador Marie Yovanovitch has signed a book deal.

Yovanovitch, whose career has taken her from Somalia to Ukraine and finally to the spotlight during impeachment hearings, will release a currently untitled memoir in spring 2021, reports the Associated Press.

She gained prominence last year after she was recalled from her post in Kyiv as Rudy Giuliani pushed Ukrainian officials to investigate former vice president Joe Biden and his son, who served on the board of a Ukrainian gas company.

Yovanovitch is represented by the same literary agency that handled books by former FBI Director James Comey and former national security adviser John Bolton.
