The finalists have emerged from more than 1,000 book submissions for the 2020 Lambda Literary Awards.
Winners of the award that honors the best in LGBTQ books will be revealed June 8.
Here are the nominees for four of the twenty-four categories; the other shortlists, for nonfiction, poetry, and various smaller genres, can be found on Lambda Literary’s website.
