Celebrity book clubs have released their picks for April.
Jenna Bush Hager picked Valentine by Elizabeth Wetmore.
The novel explores the aftermath of a violent attack on a teenage girl in Texas in the 1970s and is told through various characters’ perspectives.
"Elizabeth really developed these characters that I felt like I knew," Hager said in announcing the Read With Jenna selection.
"I found myself missing them when the story was over. The women are complicated. They are a lot of things at once."
Reese Witherspoon picked Untamed by Glennon Doyle.
The activist and speaker’s memoir focuses on how one can find joy and peace by focusing on our inner voice versus external expectations.
"I swear I highlighted something in every chapter. This book really spoke to me in so many ways," Witherspoon said on the Reese's Book Club website.
Oprah Winfrey picked Hidden Valley Road: Inside the Mind of an American Family, by Robert Kolker.
The nonfiction work is the real-life story of a family with twelve children, six of whom were diagnosed with schizophrenia, and how scientists hoped their tragic story could help them better understand this mental illness.
"This is a riveting true story of an American family that reads like a medical detective journey," Winfrey said in announcing the Oprah's Book Club selection.
