New "Walking Dead" comic book aims to help brick-and-mortar stores

Exciting news for Walking Dead fans came today: a new comic book will arrive June 1.

Robert Kirkman said he’s writing Negan Lives! (with illustrations from Charlie Adlard) to help boost comic-book retailers, who have suffered financially during the coronavirus-related shutdowns.

Kirkman will, to that end, offer this issue for free and in print only, to encourage shoppers to enter stores.

Negan Lives! will come out July 1; you can read a bit more about the issue in the New York Times.
