Charles Webb, author of The Graduate (yes, the one that inspired the movie), died earlier this month, reports Deadline.
He was eighty-one years old when he died of a blood condition on June 16.
The Graduate was Webb’s first novel and obviously a hit as a movie; much later, his novel New Cardiff also became a film, which was renamed Hope Springs.
You can read more about Webb in Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, or the New York Times.
