The Maldives are reopening to international visitors, and the bookstore on one of its island resorts is ready for its next “barefoot bookseller.”
The Soneva Fushi eco-resort has hosted three different adventurous souls to run the bookstore on its private island and is ready to take on another, reports the Guardian.
The job starts at the end of October and concludes after Easter, with training being done remotely and “strict and rigorous testing” for COVID being done on the resort.
If you’re curious for curiosity’s sake, you can read more about the pop-up bookstore in the Guardian, but if you’re interested in applying, head to the official barefoot bookseller job posting.
