We felt like we were constantly sharing news of book adaptations last week.

Apparently, we still missed a few.

Literary Hub rounded up all of last week’s screen announcements in one post, revealing to us that Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson, Interior Chinatown by Charles Yu, Calico Joe by John Grisham, and The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls by Anissa Gray all still have adaptation plans.

Sarah Perry’s The Essex Serpent, however, no longer does, after Keira Knightley dropped out of the production.

Links to the original reports of these movie and TV adaptations are available in Lit Hub’s post.
