Barnes & Noble and its former CEO have settled a years-long legal battle, reports Publishers Weekly.

Demos Parneros and the bookstore chain dropped their claims against each other and agreed to each cover their own legal costs; both, separately, also declined to comment to PW.

Parneros filed a breach of contract and defamation lawsuit a month after his 2018 firing, and B&N then responded with a countersuit claiming bad behavior from Parneros.

Catch up on the whole legal battle and see what’s forecast for Parneros in Publishers Weekly.
