Writer Jason Reynolds, a two-time National Book Award finalist and the current National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, will serve as this year’s National Book Awards ceremony host.

The November 18 event is digital only this year and open to all interested attendees.

Among Reynolds’s latest and acclaimed works are Long Way Down, All American Boys, Look Both Ways: A Tale Told in Ten Blocks, and Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You (a collaboration with Ibram X. Kendi).
