The owl discovered in the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree after traveling from upstate New York to the Big Apple has a new feather in her cap.
First came fame and the name Rocky while she rehabbed at a wildlife facility.
Now she has multiple children's books dedicated to her: Rockefeller the Christmas Owl,written by T. Troy Kolo and illustrated by Meredith Miner, and Rocky’s Road to the Big City, written by Jessica DelVirginia and illustrated by Courtney Ling.
The New York Post spoke with Kolo about the message he took from Rocky’s experiences and what he hoped to convey in his book (the first he's ever written), and TV station KSAT did the same with DelVirginia,
