The coronavirus pandemic has forced many businesses to think outside the box in order to remain open.
For Philadelphia’s The Head & The Hand bookstore, that means renting out the shop to couples seeking a date night (or, probably, any small quaran-team needing to meet in person, outside the house).
The $65 fee gets you ninety minutes alone in the store, a table for two, and access to a short story dispenser — and it also ensures that the store will remain open; ABC-6 reports that date night is keeping it afloat right now.
The station adds that, perhaps not surprisingly, The Head & The Hand is booked through the end of the month.
