Good news for John le Carré fans: the late novelist left one unpublished manuscript for you.

Silverview is a complete, full-length novel, reports the Guardian, and will come out October 12.

Le Carré’s literary agent told the paper that the author, who died in December, had granted his sons permission to release the work.

Silverview’s hero is Julian Lawndsley, a man who’s left a prestigious job in order to run a bookstore in a small English seaside town. Trouble, of course, finds him there.

You can read more about the discovery of Silverview (and read praise for it from the select few who have seen it) in the Guardian.
