Actress Viola Davis is writing a memoir

Acclaimed actress Viola Davis has another book in the works.

The star of Fences and How to Get Away with Murder is writing a memoir, Finding Me, which will come out April 19, 2022, reports the Associated Press.

Davis previously wrote a children’s book, Corduroy Takes A Bow, partly as homage to a book that provided her an escape from the childhood poverty that she'll be detailing in her upcoming memoir.

Davis is also known for her roles in the movies Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and The Help.
