A picture book about a child with same-sex parents is continuing its tour across eastern Europe.

The sale of Mothers, Fathers and Kids from Dusk till Dawn in a Hungarian bookstore chain resulted in fines last month.
Now, the book has been released in Russia with an “18+” label on it, reports the Guardian.

Russia’s 2013 law banning “gay propaganda” meant that no publisher would release the book, so the LGBTQ+ rights foundation Sphere published it in that country.

The book is actually a translated combination of two English books: Early One Morning and Bedtime, Not Playtime!, both written by Lawrence Schimel and illustrated by Elīna Brasliņa.
