The rest of "Dune" will be adapted into a movie, too

Frank Herbert’s Dune will continue in movie format.

A movie version of the first half of the book came out in theaters and on HBO Max, with questions about whether the rest would come to screens.

This week, Legendary Entertainment announced that Dune: Part II is expected to arrive in theaters only in October 2023, reports the Associated Press.

The film version of the epic sci-fi novel stars Timothee Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, and Zendaya and has generally received positive reviews. 

Dune is the first in a six-book series.
