A novel shortlisted for the 2021 Booker Prize is now available in the United States.
Nadifa Mohamed's The Fortune Men — which came out in all formats except paperback yesterday — is a historical-fiction tale whose themes resonate today.
The story of a Somali sailor arrested for and convicted of a crime he didn't commit is based on a historical case from 1952 in Cardiff, Wales.
