An extremely rare copy of an Incredible Hulk comic has sold for almost half a million dollars.

The Guardian reports that the copy of Incredible Hulk #1, dating to 1962, shows the superhero as gray rather than the green we now know him as being.

It’s the most expensive copy of the first Hulk story ever sold, according to the auction site that handled the sale.

But its $490,000 price tag pales in comparison to the comic in which Spider-Man makes his debut — a copy of that edition sold for $3.6 million last fall.
