Author Jessamine Chan’s year is starting out swimmingly.

Right after we learned that her debut novel was a Read With Jenna book club pick, Literary Hub shared more news about The School for Good Mothers: it could be coming to TV.

Actress Jessica Chastain’s production company won a bidding war for the rights, according to Deadline, and Chan will be among the script’s executive producers.

The thriller tells the story of Frida, who believes the one role she excels in is that of a mother … but an ominous government agency disagrees and whisks her away to a terrifying reform institution.
