Casting choices have been announced for the movie adaptation of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

The prequel to Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games trilogy examines the youth of President Snow, who will be played by Tom Blyth (previously announced), and his relationship with a Hunger Games tribute named Lucy Gray Baird.

Rachel Zegler, who most recently played Maria in West Side Story, was revealed as playing Lucy, reports Deadline.

The movie is expected to hit screens November 17, 2023.
