If you're a romance fan, chances are good that you have, since — as Eater points out — food-themed love stories are a hot trend right now.
There are a number of reasons for this, of course.
Among the more obvious: authors write about what they like, and food media itself has been having a years-long moment with such shows as The Great British Bake Off.
But that latter reason is part of a greater trend, too; in contrast to the calorie-conscious '90s, we're all about food nowadays.
And the enjoyment of food can itself be rather sensual, too.
