For sale: An autographed first-edition copy of "The Catcher in the Rye"

A signed first-edition copy of The Catcher in the Rye is going on sale this week.

NPR reports that while it is the second autographed first-edition copy known, it's the only copy that author J.D. Salinger signed with his childhood nickname of "Sonny."

The book is listed for $228,000 at Firsts: London’s Rare Book Fair, which runs from September 15-18.

The event's website notes that its theme this year is banned books.
