Chicago Public Library invites you to create a Book Sanctuary

The Chicago Public Library launched a local effort to fight book bans and challenges — but it's also welcoming anyone across the nation to join.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the Windy City is now a "sanctuary city" for frequently target books, with special efforts made locally to ensure those books are available to readers.

But they're also inviting anyone else to create a Book Sanctuary — whether that's in their home, their workplace, or a publicly accessible book collection.
