The Netflix adaptation of Lady Chatterley's Lover has been out for a few weeks now ... so cue the tie-in post here.

The New York Times's reviewer was generally a fan, as were many others, evidently, with the movie receiving an 85 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Perhaps more interestingly to readers, though, coverage of the book's past has been popping up, too.

We enjoyed listening to Stuff You Missed In History Class's episode on the obscenity trial of Lady Chatterley's Lover.

But if you prefer the written word to spoken stuff, TIME magazine looked back at the novel's decades of censorship.
